Event Details

Join us in the bike storage area at Herne Hill Velodrome. On entering, follow the path to the right hand side towards the car-park. The bike storage area is at the back beyond a fence. If you have any difficulty finding meeting spot you can call event lead Charlie 07940 455 639.

For this inclusive nature cycle everyone is encouraged to come along and learn more about sustainable urban drainage sites and the urgent need for more rain gardens in order to absorb excess road run off and protect water quality in London's rivers.

Plans include visiting Railton Road, Van Gogh Walk, Dorset Road, Richborne Terrace, Fentiman Road.

This will be a gently paced cycle with an opportunity to pick up a bit of lunch.

This event is open to everyone, no matter their limitations, and would be especially beneficial for individuals who find it easier to cycle than walk! This event has been organised in partnership with Wheels for Wellbeing, a charity who have worked with thousands of Disabled people who face barriers to taking part in any physical activity and have shown that anyone can enjoy cycling, given the right equipment, support and environment.

People without disabilities are also very welcome!

Tickets are £5 per attendee for working adults or £2.50 if you are not working, over 60 or under 15. We want this event to be accessible to all so if that payment a barrier to you attending, please email anna@cprelondon.org.uk

The event is being put on by CPRE London in partnership with Wheels for Well-Being in celebration of London Rivers Week 2024

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, CPRE London generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through CPRE London, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
